Terms & conditions
Last updated 7 September 2026
In short
- Placing an order here is a request, not a finished sale. Nothing is owed until we confirm it with you.
- We sell and deliver inside Lebanon only. Prices are in US dollars.
- Cancel free of charge any time before your order leaves us. Once it is on its way, the delivery cost is real and it is yours.
- Changed your mind after delivery? Ten days, unused, in its original packaging, returned to us at your cost, item price refunded. Personalised and made-to-order items are final.
- Faulty, damaged or wrong item? That is on us. Tell us within 48 hours and we will put it right.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and Lilovely, a small gift and stationery business operating in Lebanon, reachable at @lilovely.lb. By using this site or placing an order you accept them. If you do not, please do not order.
2. Lebanon only
We sell to customers in Lebanon and deliver within Lebanon. We do not ship abroad and cannot accept orders with a delivery address outside the country.
3. How an order works
There is no payment step on this site, by design. The sequence is:
- You submit the checkout form and receive an order code and a confirmation listing what you asked for. This is a request, not an accepted sale.
- We contact you to confirm the items, the final total including any delivery cost, and how and when payment and delivery will happen.
- The sale is concluded when you confirm on that contact. Until then you owe nothing.
We may decline or cancel a request — if an item turns out to be unavailable or was listed incorrectly, if your address is outside the areas we serve, if we cannot reach you on the details you gave, or if the order looks fraudulent. If that happens we will tell you why.
4. Prices
Prices are in US dollars. The price that applies to your order is the one displayed when you submitted it; we will not raise it afterwards. Where a delivery cost applies to your area, we tell you the full total before you commit, and you are free to walk away at that point.
5. Stock
Stock shown on the site is the stock we believe we have, and it moves as orders come in. Where an item is running low we say so on the product page. If something sells out between your request and our confirmation, we will offer you an alternative, a wait, or nothing at all — your choice.
6. Payment
No payment is taken on this website. There is no card form, no payment gateway and no wallet. Payment is arranged with you directly once your order is confirmed.
Lilovely will never ask you online for a card number, a CVV, a PIN or an SMS code. If a message claiming to be from us asks for any of that, it is not us.
7. Delivery
Delivery is arranged with you when we confirm the order, including timing and cost. We aim to be quick, but delivery times are estimates rather than promises, and things outside our control — road closures, strikes, weather, courier delays — can move them. If your order is going to be late, we will tell you.
Please make sure the address and phone number you gave are correct and that someone can receive the parcel. If a delivery fails because nobody was reachable, because the address was wrong, or because nobody was there to receive it, the delivery cost has already been spent. We will ask you to cover it, and to cover any further attempt, before we send the order out again.
8. Cancelling before delivery
Tell us before your order leaves us and it is cancelled at no cost — nothing has been paid at that stage and nothing has been spent on your behalf.
Once your order has been dispatched, that is no longer true. If you cancel after it is on its way, or refuse the parcel at the door without a valid reason, the delivery cost has been incurred and we will ask you to cover it. Repeatedly refusing confirmed orders may mean we ask for payment in advance next time, or decline to serve you.
9. Changing your mind after delivery
Lebanese consumer law gives you ten days from receiving your order to change your mind about a distance purchase. We honour that, on these conditions:
- Tell us within ten days of receiving the order, and get the item back to us within seven days of telling us.
- The item must be unused and unmarked, complete, with its wrapping and any seal intact, in its original packaging and in a condition we can sell again. A planner that has been written in, a notebook with a bent corner or a sticker sheet that has been opened is not returnable.
- You arrange and pay for getting the item back to us, and it is at your risk until it reaches us. Send it in a way that protects it.
- We refund the price of the returned item only. Delivery costs, whether charged separately or built into the price, are not refunded — the delivery happened, and the cost of it cannot be recovered.
- We check the item when it arrives. If it comes back used, incomplete, marked or without its packaging, we may refuse the return or reduce the refund to reflect its condition, and we will explain which and why.
What cannot be returned for a change of mind
- Anything personalised, customised or made to order for you
- Anything opened where the seal or wrapping is part of the product's condition
- Anything used, written in, marked or damaged after delivery
- Items bought in a sale or as part of a bundle or offer, unless faulty
- Gift cards and digital items, if we offer them
None of this touches your rights over a faulty item, which are set out next and are not affected by anything in this section.
10. Faulty, damaged or wrong items
If something arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, please check the parcel on delivery where you can, and tell us within 48 hours of receiving it, with photographs of the item and its packaging. Keep the packaging until the matter is settled.
For a fault that only shows itself later, tell us within seven days of receiving the order. In either case we will repair, replace or refund the item, including what you paid to have it delivered, and we cover the cost of getting it back to us. That is your right under Lebanese consumer law and nothing in these terms limits it.
Paper things vary a little. Colours can look different on a screen than in the hand, and small differences in trimming, binding or shade are part of how these products are made. Those are not faults.
11. Refunds
Where a refund is due, we make it once we have the item back and have checked it, within 14 days of that point, in US dollars and by the same route the payment came to us. We do not offer refunds in advance of receiving a returned item.
12. What we ask of you
- Give accurate contact and delivery details, and be reachable on them.
- Order for personal use. These items are not sold for resale.
- Be 18 or over, or have a parent or guardian order for you.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or interfere with the site.
We may decline or cancel orders, and refuse to serve a customer in future, where these are ignored — in particular where orders are repeatedly placed and then refused, or where contact details are given that do not work.
13. Our photos and words
The product photographs, descriptions, designs and the look of this site belong to Lilovely. Please do not copy them for a commercial purpose without asking. Sharing a photo of something you bought, with credit, is welcome — that is not what this clause is about.
14. Availability of the site
We try to keep the shop up and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or entirely free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of it, or discontinue products, without notice.
15. Our responsibility
We are responsible for the items we sell you: that they match their description, and that faulty or wrong items are put right as set out above. Beyond that we are not liable for indirect losses — a missed occasion, a lost opportunity, or costs you took on in reliance on a delivery date. Nothing here limits any right you have under Lebanese consumer law, which stands whatever these terms say.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by Lebanese law, including Consumer Protection Law No. 659/2005 and Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data. Disputes fall to the competent courts of Beirut. Before that, please talk to us — most things are fixable with a message. You may also raise a complaint with the Consumer Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top says when this version took effect.
18. Privacy
What we do with the details you give at checkout is set out in our privacy policy.
